Anyone having Issues with brawl.

I got the game today and whenever I stick the disk in it reads, unable to read disk, I cleaned the laser to no avail...I guess I need to pick up a new Wii, anyone else having issues?Anyone having Issues with brawl.
nope. but the game is awesome.Anyone having Issues with brawl.
Brawl is a dual layer disc and some Wii's may not be able to read it. You'll need to send in your Wii for repair by filling out this form. Don't worry though, it's free even if your not in warranty anymore. Nintendo is aware of the problem and will fix your Wii to play Brawl.

You might as well just go get a new Wii then.
Ya I actually think it may be a issue with just first gen Wii's becasue my laser was spotless, so maybe nintendo is trying to coverup a larger issue with the first gen Wii's.
And what did we learn today?
For the love of Ice Cream, don't open up your game console. No matter how much you think you're MacGyver, just don't. Call in or do it online, and send it in.

But seriously, that sucks for you ( unless you're really rich and can afford 50 Wii ).

Or your just pulling crap outta your ass? Both me and my brother have launch day wii and ours are perfect. My friend nick has a launch day wii and is fine. My friend dan has a wii from around jan-feb and is fine, My friend krista has a launch day wii and is fine and my manager shaun has a launch day wii and is fine.
I have a day 1 Wii and I've had absolutely no problems with Brawl, so I don't think it's a huge coverup as you are accusing Nintendo of. They've admited there are some issues with certain consoles, and they've also told everyone that they're willing to fix the consoles for free, so I don't understand why people are getting upset about this. So, there's nothing wrong....unless you decided to take apart the console yourself
