SSBB questions I know theres a sticky.

I know there is a sticky but I looked and I couldent find the answers to my questions and its just to hard to find a decent post in a thread that big. I just got a few questions because if I got this game reserved and I can get it tommarow if I want to. See I hate motion sensing so none of the other games attract me but SSBB does and maybe Mario Kart. But just a few questions because Wii are still very hard to get around here so its goimng to be hard to get one. So heres the questions:How is the online and what gamemodes are there?
Does it take long to find a game mode?
Is it laggy or does this game run smooth online?SSBB questions I know theres a sticky.
gabu please dont close this.SSBB questions I know theres a sticky.
I understand your concerns about the sticky, so I'll try to answer your questions here.
How is the online and what gamemodes are there?
The official Smash Bros. website answers this question pretty well. There are two main modes: With Friends, which is a match only between people on your friends list, and With Anyone, which is a match between anyone else who are also desiring to play With Anyone. With Anyone is also explained in a little greater detail here. You can also spectate a With Anyone match instead of actually fighting in it.Now, once you're in a game, there are a number of modes that you can play others with. There's your straight Brawl, which everyone knows and loves. There's also Rotation, which handles situations where you're playing at home and have more than four players on hand wanting to play. There's Special Brawl, which lets you alter settings within the game. And there's also Tourney, in which a large group of people can come together, put on a tournament, and have the winners advance until one person is finally declared the victor.
Does it take long to find a game mode?
I'm not sure if you're asking whether or not it takes long to find an online match or whether finding the game modes within the game are hard to find. The answer to the latter is ''no''. The answer to the former is less strictly determined. Some people have reported a lot of problems in finding a match, but that will probably die down as the kinks get ironed out.
Is it laggy or does this game run smooth online?
Some have reported lag, but I believe most have reported smooth sailing. Again, this is probably something that will get better as time goes on.Now that I've answered your questions, I'd like to just touch on the topic of the sticky, as it seems to be a point of concern for some people, and I don't want to appear distant or out of touch. I completely understand your concern; let me say that right off the bat. I find gigantic topics very hard to follow as well, and I myself am reluctant to post to them as well. But the problem is that if we allowed all the Brawl topics that people wanted to make, the Wii forum would quickly be absolutely and utterly flooded by them (which it admittedly already is to a certain extent...). While Brawl is a huge game, it's not the only thing out there, and we want to also be considerate of people who want to talk about things other than Brawl. It's kind of a balance, really, and there are unfortunately no good answers that will satisfy everyone. I recognize that, and I can understand if someone becomes upset with the way things are, as there's bound to be someone who is negatively impacted, which is really quite unfortunate. I put in a request with those in charge here to have a new sticky topic created that isn't hundreds of pages long, and hopefully that might make things a little better if it goes through (although such a thing will need to be approved).Until then, however, all I can really say is to ask for your patience and to ask that you please do your best to use the sticky out of consideration for the rest of the forum that wants to talk about something other than Brawl. We don't like confining discussion to a sticky and we avoid it if we feel we can - that's something we should say as well - but we occasionally find it appearing necessary to preserve order within the forum.
