it says to unlock toon link it says to beat classic mode with link, or 400 vs. matches. I'm not doing 400 vs. matches! And I;ve beaten classic with link several times, but he won't show. Sorry, was never able to unlock him that way. I passed SSE first and went back to a stage where a new door opened and I fought him and unlocked hi that way.
Same here. I played through twice, once on easy, once on normal, each time unlocking characters that weren't Toon Link. I'm just going to do the SSE way.
