Were the rumors true?

I don't live in the U.S. and I have read all last week that there were going to be 100+ Wii at almost every Best Buy, Walmart, Circuit City and Toys R Us because of the SSBB launch, well sunday has passed, anybody knows if the rumors were true?? did these store really had that amount of Wiis?Were the rumors true?

It was true. A ton of smaller stores like K-Mart even had Wii's.
I know my work had a stack of Wiis, probably only about a dozen, but that's a dozen more than we usually have for sale on Sundays. Usually we get our stock for Friday mornings.

probably true but nobody had SSBB. I'm a dummy and didn't reserve it. I quit reserving games a long time ago. I'll get in a few days im sure
