Wii or Mario Problems

Hello, the reason i am opening up this topic is because im a gamer who injoys mario games. Ive had my Nitendo Wii for about a year now and this christmas i got a 360 leaving my Wii behind. So today i finnaly had a chance to get Mario Brawl for the Wii but when i pt it in it says ''Unable to read the disc.'' is it my wii or just the game can someone plz inform me? thanks
