Wii question about noise

Is it normal if the WIi makes a loud noise when you turn on the Wii, start a game, or change discs. Wii question about noise

A loud noise? Mine only has done that once and thats when it locked up on GH3. Its probably not good, call Nintendo.
Mine's been totally quiet, so I would agree with my peers about contacting Nintendo.
It makes a noise some times, but if yours is too loud, then it might be a problem with it, so better call Nintendo.

I wouldnt call Nintendo. mine makes a click and a faint beep when I start it up and then in game when its loading mainly in NMH its makes some clicks but nothing worth losing your save files over.
I think I know what you're talking about its probably like a screeching or turning of the disc noise you hear while u wait for the loading time? You guys will probably notice while waiting and playing Brawl hehe.. anyway yeah I could hear it on my friend's Wii and I've seen some Brawl videos online where their Wii has made a similar noise so I assume its normal and other people just don't notice it or theres a faulty batch of Wiis out there.
yup. if there no disc in the system when u turn it on then ti spins the recieving motor just to make sure. if u put a disc in or eject it then those motors also fire. theres alsoa couple of clicking noises as the wii gets the read head in position and then theres the noise from the disc drive itself when its going at full speed....all normal.as long as the game is behaving properly and the disc come in and out normally then ure wii si fine. wii is not a silent system.
