The Wii really needs some kind of HDD.

I really wish the Wii had bigger storage capacity. I would download so many VC games but I don't want to have to worry about running out of space. I know you can erase and download them over again but I don't want to have to erase games that I paid money for. It just doesn't make sense to me that NIntendo has not announced a USB HDD. Make it proprietary to the system serial I don't care. Just release one.The Wii really needs some kind of HDD.

Just buy an HDD usb adapter.
Just buy an SD card. 2GB should be well more than enough.

It should have had an interal hdd or at least like a 20 gig solid state HDD(I know they are kinda expensive, but a real hdd would have taken up quite a bit of space).

stop complaining wii doesnt have a hard drive didnt since launch get over it,, just erase some ,, you wont need to pay to download it again once you paid for it, for the entire time of owning your wii mas for saves go get an sd card once space runs out most of the data can be copied then you can delete it off your wii ,, and so on , what do you think hard drives do ,, exactly that,i had a 20 gb hard drive for the 360 it ran out of space in no time ,, why do you think ps3 and 360 need hard drives, because they are multimedia systems ,, hence why they take up so much space its impossible not to have a hard drive 120 gb for that matter and ps3 is lik e a computer, needs one , other wise it wont be usefulwii does not need one its files are small and again once you download a game pay for it, you dont need to buy it again your gonna say it takes to long,, , well i t takes 360 and ps3 more longer to download then the wii wii doesnt take that much time to download a nes snes genesis tg16 neo geo game it takes a little longer to download a n64 or wii channel yes but there not many or not needed most of the channels are waste of space and are always free aside from the stupid internet channel which is also not needed further more thats what a pc is for ,
