Ok, I just want to see if I'm seeing this correctlyOne of Nintendo's biggest games gets released over the weekend. Stores hold back Wii's so they'll have Smash Bros AND Wii's to entice customers in.After all that, people are looking for Wii's?Last weekend stores HAD Wii's, made sure they had them by holding back stock to meet the game's release. People skipped over that and decided they'd try AFTER?Someone please explain this to meYou're Looking For A Wii Now? Wha?? Now? ...
Maybe they did look before Brawl was released but couldn't find any? You're Looking For A Wii Now? Wha?? Now? ...
Maybe they did look before Brawl was released but couldn't find any?
Stores had them for sure then thoughSure in a lot of cases I bet you needed to camp out but stores just got rid of inventory last weekend.
Maybe they did look before Brawl was released but couldn't find any?
that would have been due to lack of effort or a lack of planning... time after time after time (every thread I saw that someone asked) I told people how to get a wii on march 9th, it took getting up pretty dang early but everyone who wanted it enough could have got one on sunday.

That's the only other reason I can think of right now.
So it is possible that they did look, but didn't try that hard to find one, or not hard enough.
So it is possible that they did look, but didn't try that hard to find one, or not hard enough.
or some just have bad luck.... Time just change back in US.. Bc my friends are on vacation we do not need time, and guess what... the day time change was march 9. So, my best friend end up getting to TRU at 930 instead of 830 (it opened at 10am) He was lucky ebough at the end and even thus the line was quite long already (around 60 ppl) he got one. But my friend in CT, was no as lucky. He could not find one by the time he got there at 8am, thinking it was 7am. Line was HUGE, so he decided to drive to another store, line was long but he give it a shot. They sold around 100 Wii, he was too behind in the line. After that he try going to NYC, but by the time he got there, was too late. Thus yea.. I see your point.. This guy was complaining bc he went a out at 12 and could not find a wii... DUH!!! :P
It's basically a ''game.'' I know a guy who works in a warehouse business who informed that many crates of Wii's are usually just sitting around waiting to be dispatched BUT they are given specific orders not to ship until certain dates to the stores. These are probably the companies like ''Best Buy'' ''Walmart'' ''Target's'' business strategy that is effecting the consumers from getting their hands on it faster. In the end if you don't already have a Wii, it's going to get harder i'm sure. Then again it's much more rewarding hunting for one and finally getting your hands on one.
